The Volez, Voguez, Voyagez Exhibit shows the history of the Louis Vuitton brand, and chronicles the history of traveling with stuff.

We are all familiar with the iconic LV insignia seen on handbags carried around town. But how did this company get started? A visionary in his day, Louis Vuitton Malletier began making custom travel cases in 1854, using revolutionary materials, resulting in lightweight and tailor-made performance pieces. Thus, the practicality of these trunks took off.

This extensive show hosted incredible original pieces from the 1800s, advertisements, sketches, and memorabilia. It really told the story of how people traveled in each era from boats to trains to cars to planes. Incorporated, also, were the more recent handbag and fashion designs.
