Design On a Dime delights with its no-holds-barred creativity. The event, now in its 15th year, takes place April 25th to the 27th, bringing together the nation’s top talent (see list of designers below). Participating designers create one-of-a-kind room vignettes with over $2 million worth of donations: new furniture, art, and accessories. To raise money for Housing Works, every piece will be sold for up to 80% off retail.
The fun begins at the Opening Night Reception on April 25 which includes a VIP Preview Hour at 5:30; General Admission at 6:30, when the sale will begin. Following the Opening Night Reception will be two public sale days with free admission. Tickets sales are closed for Opening, but you can still attend the 26/27. Proceeds from Design on a Dime support Housing Works’ mission to end the dual crises of homelessness and AIDS. The organization provides thousands of New Yorkers with lifesaving health services and housing. They also mobilize advocacy efforts to ensure social justice and healthcare for Americans in need.
