A honky-tonk spirit comes to Manhattan. Porchlight seeks to channel Southern hospitality with its fab cocktail menu and homey bites.

Who to Take: The gang after work for happy hour or the guys for imbibing experimental cocktails

Cocktails range from light concoctions, like the Gypsy Colt, housing vodka, grapefruit, lime, cinnamon and walnut bitters to more potent sippers like the Aloha Friday, a mix of Old Forester bourbon, Plantation Pineapple rum, and hibiscus.

The experimental section exists for those who love to try new and exotic things, like the Fireside Chat: Bol’s Genever, Becherovka, amaretto and walnut liqueur.

Try the punch of the week on tap, and it will be served to you in the most adorable little bottle with striped straw. (seen in the photo at the top of this post)

For private parties, there’s a room in the back filled with vintage games and mid-century mod furniture. The Game Room can hold up to 40 guests enjoying special items from the menu and beyond.

Make the trek to the far west side, steps from the future Hudson Yards.
