Check out the club, formerly known as Happy Ending, who is keeping with an artsy and fun atmosphere. Better Days NYC has two floors which offer two different moods.
Who To Take: a bunch of friends to dance or a date to enjoy tapas and live music
To top off the evening of my birthday celebration, part three, a dance venue was required. My good friend Dave Phillips recommended Better Days (formerly Happy Ending), which on that night hosted a hot and energizing salsa band, Pachamambo. This is what makes me forever happy to live in NYC, it’s where your night can go from formal to funky in 15 minutes. (having come from a fab dinner at Estiatorio Milos, see the post).
Upon arrival my friend already had a bottle of bubbly chillin’, and the band provided enough rhythm to take everyone out of their seats. I loved, as the night went on, different groups showed up ready to dance and contributed to the fun vibe.
This club’s name Better Days is an homage to a music club that opened on 49th street in 1972. They also host art exhibits, comedy, bands, and Djs in their duplex space. Downstairs is a DJ and dance floor. Check the Better Days NYC FB page for schedule of events.
