I very seldomly drink beer, but do get excited when I am introduced to “fruity” beers. Here is one whose looks not only tie into a Halloween party, but also works great in a mixed drink. It is the world’s first Hefeweizen grapefruit beer from Germany. Schöfferhofer blends it 50/50 with their Hefeweizen beer and natural carbonated grapefruit flavor. The taste is delightfully sweet, and fizzy. For more Halloween brews ideas, check out the “beertails” below. Also, think about pairing with other sweets: Trick or Treat candies like Starburst, Skittles, Twizzlers, or even dark chocolate. Schofferhofer also offers a Pomegranate Hefeweizen beer with a 50/50 blend of pomegranate juice resulting in a refreshingly tart and tangy taste experience. Drink them all year round! schofferhofer.us
